Nice Things to Say About Your Man?

Geez,
I keep reading all these stories about cheating truckers. It's rather discouraging. Can anyone tell us about things your boyfriend/husband does from the road or when he gets home to let you know he loves and misses you?

My fiance is a wonderful person yes i miss him while he's gone but i get more attention now then i did when i saw him every day. He now appreciates me more then ever. Everytime my boyfriend leaves for his 2 weeks he has been sending me a post card. So I know he is thinking about me. He calls me every night and we talk for about an hour or so sometimes less and his cell phone bill sure does show it.

My hubby is a real sweetie, he almost always brings something home to me, even though I keep telling him not to, lol. He also takes me out whereever I want to go when he is home. He has always been good about calling when he is on the road and I believe that our marriage is better because we don't see each other all the time so we appreciate the time we have together.

Hi girls! My hubby calls me every morning just so he can tell me goodmorning! He takes me out to dinner when I know he wants to eat at home....being he eats out everyday!!! hahaha When we do eat at home he cooks for me! He calls me everynight when he has a signal and he's always so excited when he's on his way home. He just recently surprised me with 12 roses when I was having a bad day!!! He's a sweetie! I'm a very lucky girl! I love the time we have together, and since he's gone most of the time we appreciate each other and the time we have together a lot more!!!

Hi Everyone!
My hubby got home on Friday night, with a dozen roses and a box of chocolates for me as well as an orchid! He had only been gone for 6 days, he spoils me so much, I love it!

Let's see.....there's sex.....sex.........sex................ *wandering blissfully through naughty thoughts before shaking my head vigorously to pull me back to the here-and-now*

There's also breakfast in bed, getting to snuggle under the blankies as he gets up with the kids, cuddling, watching TV together and discussing absolutely everything, my collection of ill-fitting "wolf" shirts from various truck stops across North America (thank goodness his totem is not the Blue Footed Boobie Bird!! Seriously, if you've never seen one do an internet search...pee first though 'cause after you see it you will wet yourself with laughter!!). Did I mention, sex?

I am surprised that this post doesn't have more replies, I think I could post something almost everyday! lol. Come on girls, lets here the reasons why you all put up with being married to a man that you hardly see.
My hubby does whatever he can for me when he is home, he will get up early in the mornings with the baby so that I can have a chance to sleep in. He takes me out if I want or cooks me breakfast or dinner or whatever. He doesn't do housework which is too bad because he would be close to perfect if he did, lol, but I guess I can live with that.

My boyfriend will call every night when he is on the road to say goodnight (and let me know he is fine of course lol)..and when he's home, it's all about me! He brings me out for drives (even tho he already drove 5 days to come home) because that is my favorite thing to do, he buys me flowers for no reason and gives me money every week to go shopping

My hubby calls me every single morning no matter what. We have coffee together and talk about what our day has in store for us. On every holiday he sends flowers, last Valentines he sent me a Vermont Teddy Bear (the trucker teddy) That was soooo cool! When hes home he gives me a break from the kids by sometimes letting me go get a pedicure, my nails done, or just some girl time shopping.
One thing you could do that might be fun is every trucker has a calendar in the truck. A little one. Why not have a close friend take some risky pics of you and make a small calendar for him to look at every day of the year? That will remind him that you are thinking of him everyday!

my hubby is great. when he's out on the road he calls as much as he can sometimes just for a minute to tell me he loves me or that he's thinking of me. when he's home, it's us going out and doing things. i really don't know anyone ni town and only know how to get to the places i need to go so he takes me out and we go and do things that i can't do. he's sending money home so that i can not only pay bills but go to a movie if i want or rent some and also to get whatever i want. he also almost always brings me home something and usually gets something each week he's out so i have lots of stuff sometimes when he gets home. i can't imagine being with anyone else as that man makes sure i know that it's all about me while he's home and while he's on the road. he has told me he doesn't want to be out there but he has to take care of me and the baby and that's why he's doing it.

I just wanted to reply as a Truck Drivers girlfriend .My guy is the sweetest he calls on his cell phone just to tell me he loves me and keeps me updated on how he is doing .Sept.2,2007 I did get a phone call from him as he was leaving the hospital that he was in an accident and his Semi he drives for the company rolled over when the load shifted .It is still hard for to get used to him being gone when he has to leave but I love hearing his voice.I live in Wisconsin he lives in Minnesota so we are 6 1/2 hours away from each other but he has recently asked if I would consider moving to Minnesota with him . I have known him 5 years online in the last 6 months it has become more than just friends and he did get a load that delivered 25min. from where I live so we have spent time together and he has been to Wisconsin.I do give him a hard time about getting married by saying will you ever get married and if you do some female will be very lucky .His answer is yes he is getting married and i wonder who she is .The woman he plans on marrying is me he has said it himself.As for when he is home I get very nice back rubs when we are together and alot of hugs and kisses that I always cherish .

Hubbys great when he gets home even though hes tired at times he goes out of his way to be with us and do stuff with us, he cooks dinner for us he loves to cook and sometimes if we dont go out just being at home cuddling is well worth it. I talk to hubby about 5 times or more a day lol we live in canada but he got a phone to use just in the US so after 9pm its free and weekends its free and the kids love talking to him my daughter calls him 1st thing in the morning to say goodmorning and right after she gets home from school she calls him as well to tell him about her day he loves hearing her stories and how her day went and it makes his time out on the road go by alot faster. He also just got the laptop so we talk alot on msn as well when hes waiting for a load or at night when before he goes to sleep. I love the time we have together even if its for a few hours at times we make it worth it, but i do like my space as well maybe thats why were still happily married fo so long we trust each other and are totally honest just makes you appreciate one another alot more
