I am new to the trucker life. I miss my man

Hello I am new to this. I am in love with a wonderful man who is a trucker. This is so very new to me. So learning the trucking side is a bit hard for me. I find the hardest is the fact I don't get to see him. He is on the road so much. And everytime I say good bye to him on the phone my heart skips a beat. And I am so sad. And all I think of is when will I hear him again. Any suggestions on what I can do......I try to stay busy....but nothing doesn't seem to help. I miss him so much.....

My boyfriend claimed he wasn't planning on going OTR ever again, until last summer. I hate it! But I can't help that. He makes such good money, and we have it arranged where he's home just about every weekend. I do a lot of shopping to pass my time, often not buying a thing. I also started sitting for a neighbor. That keeps me busy. I've heard from many vetern trucker wives that the key to getting by is staying busy. I think I need to be busier! I've started redecorating the house, and soon I'll be planning our wedding, and I think I've cleaned every knook and cranny of this house with my free time! It gets easier, but it's never easy.
