I was just wondering for my own sanity how many wives and girlfriends are there of truckers? I was just needing to blow steam and wondered were every one is from...I'm in south central iowa Give me a breaker 1-9 for that radio check

Hi...thanks for the reply, I have been a truckers gf and now wife for 2 years...We have taken our family trips with my sn on the truck, and we love to be together. We have our hardtimes and there are times your gonna think broakers are the devil, but it all works out in the end. Right now my hubby is out of work and freekin about bills I'm not working right now and just waiting for another job to open up. He quit before he should have. The other ob was to open up within 2 days of quiting and he won't here anything for a couple more days. And bills are stacking up. I hope all you ladies will have a nice valentinie's day and best wishes for you all.

Welcome from the great state of Kansas! My hubby is an otr company driver for the past 10 or 11 years. Believe me, there are days I'd like to take his fleet manager apart piece by little bitty piece. But for the most part, it's okay.

I am from Topeka. Been a truckers wife for about 4 months now. Its a big adjustment but am getting there not sure if it is getting easier or harder some days. My hubby made it in for a day and a half so have been enjoying his company this last few hours..

I have been with my hubby for 4 years, and he has been driving long before that. We live in Nova Scotia, Canada, and have one son who is 6 months old. I loved going in the truck with him when I could but that is harder now with a baby, so I miss it alot. Have a great day.

------being a trucker wife has got to be the hardest job ever known...I mean they come home for 24 hours a week sometimes every two weeks,...You try and spend time with them and they sleep,..Or mostly they want to go do something else with their froends and you left holding their dirty clothes thinkin what about me?...I know my hubby loves me and i know he needs to blow off steam...keep your chins up girls and think ...one of these days...he'll be home soon and want to be with you...at least that's my grip for the day...see ya all later..

wow the site editor told me be paitent and yall would show up. an have ya. i have been here almost 3 years. or longer i dont know. the guys were so good to me cause they knew how things were and no one was here but little ole me.
i have been tw for 15&1-2 yrs. i am origanally { its late} from IN and moved to Ks with my ex army hubby and now live in nwTN. i have family in KY and my parent s just bought a place in FL near silver springs. so i have been near most of you at one time or aonther.
and girls it is hard to take a baby in the truck. my 15 yr. old started riding when she was bout 6 mo. old. lets see she fellout of a cab over when she was bout 2 face first on concrete at a fuel island in SC wont forget it daddy told her i threw her out. assshole. we have ran out of milk in the middlel of no where at night and i have been peed all over when we were almost out of diapers. and crappped on when she had the squirts and no diaper would hold it./ but she loved the experiencess and would not trade them for the world my little blonde monster or alwayswas afraid of a truck and it is nearly impossble to take two girls in a truck . lots of people do it but i would rather stay home now.
funny not so many years ago i kept a bag 1-2 packed so i could be ready in just a few minutes.//

Hey I live in Oklahoma. My husband is a Flat bed driver for a company in Arkansas. We have 2 kids 4&2. I hope we talk a lot more because I have moved away from my family in Alabama. But I really love it up here. I hope you are doing fine. This life is really good after you get used to it. I do not think that I could have my hubby home more than 4 days, I think he would drive me nuts,HA!HA! But I love it.
