Do I really want to get in to this life?

Just met someone who is a trucker. Do I really want to do this? I know nothing about this lifestyle. He is a great guy and we seem to get along better than anyone I have met in a long time. But this whole thing scares me. Of course my friends all say he probably has a wife in some other state. Which I do not believe but of course I am going to hear it all the time. He gets very angry when I tell him someone said that. Then there is the whole truck issue. I live in the city and where the hell will he park the thing while he is here? I have tried to research stuff online but I am not having much luck. Most of the time he will get online and talk to me or call on the cel everyday but I never know if where he will be will have service on one or the other of those. Is it better to find that person and see them only occasionally or just continue to be alone? Any thoughts?

The life you choose is up to you, it can be lonely at some times, but trust is a big issue, you have to have it if you get involved with a trucker, or you can always tell him to get a local or regional job!http://usacdljobs.com

TRUST is the biggest thing I have been driving for over 25 yrs and it is not easy on a relationship and as a driver we have a very bad reputation. There are alot of bad apples out there that make the rest of us look bad. Some warning signs of a driver that is useing you would be secret phone calls while on the phone he walks away from you and when you ask who was that watch his expression and the tone of his voice when he answers you. As for parking check your local ordinance cuz some cities will let you get a parking permit or if there is a shopping center near you check with management to see if you can park the truck out of the way of customers.My wife could tell you other signs and cautions but I for one have never cheated on any of my relationships good luck all of us are not bad apples it is the way the media and society trys to portray us.
