Free cell phone weather radar

I don't know if this will help anyone? This is the address for free cell phone weather. It takes a snapshot of the current weather radar in the area that you enter. You can enter by zip code or you can enter the first 3 letters of the city and the 2 digit state code. For instance Tulsa, OK would be tulok, kansas city, MO would be kanmo then select the correct city. For internet capable cell phones just type in the address:

For PDA's, Treo's, Blackberries (larger screens) type:

Use it, tell your friends. I know what it is like to wonder should I park this thing till it blows over or is it a spring shower.

be careful out there.

Last June I tried to outrun a supercell just outside of Topeka. The sky looked like the ocean had been turned upsidedown and was ready to be dumped back down on land. I thought at 70 to 75 I could cut the corner and get ahead of the storm but boy was I wrong. I love this idea but its hard to hit any Internet site while you're flying down the highway. I have Cingular service that could hit your site, if I was able to do it while driving down the highway. Got any ideas on shortcuts we cellphone operators could use?

Been there doing that

Bugcatcher that is why i developed this program. as a matter of fact May 5 was the conceptual birthday of this radar viewer. I service a route that covers from the arkansas-oklahoma border to the tex-ok border south of 40 in OK almost to 70 in western Kansas. I had made the turn and was starting back towards home and between me and home was one of the ugliest looking storms coming out of the south going north at 10 AM in Oklahoma a storm that bad that early is probably really bad. I wished right then that there was a way to see if it was a spring shower or a wet demolition derby. Here we are today (oh i'm sorry 2003 KW)(just in case you wanted to know).

I have bookmarked the website in my cell phone(so 3 or 4 clicks your there)

If you are running interstates you have internet access with cingular(the only problem is usually topography

only about 25% of the area i cover doesn't have coverage (i plan ahead I know where the deadspots are. OTR wouldn't have that benefit (planning ahead))

The entry field is for drivers 5 digits is all you need. I dont know zip codes you probably wont either if you do great. for cities enter as follows:

Chicago, IL you enter chiil
Denver, CO you enter denco
Atlanta, GA you enter atlga

Then select the appropriate city(chiil will return every city in IL that starts with Chi) enter the correct radar picture will show on your phone.

Any problems or ideas drop me a line I am all about easy
