Question failed random 2 years ago and cant get back in

hope someone can help. 2 years ago i failed radom drug screen. im not gonna mislead anyone. i was guilty. the company i drove for , for 10 years terminated me. they wouldnt put me through sap program nor could i afford it on my own. was my understanding that i had to take sap program or leave trucking for 2 years. well my 2 years are up and i wanna drive again badly but everybody says no. i have spotless mvr, good work record, only had 1 moving violation in the 10 years i drove for ex company. i made a mistake and ive been paying for it for 2 years and wanna put it behind me. can anyone point me in right direction to company or owner who may give me a chance?
i made a mistake and im not afraid to admit it. and no i dont do drugs now. was at party 1/2 drunk week before random and made terrible mistake.
any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

I dont understand, if you go with a new company theyll re test you, and if your clean, well.. you just have to not put down you worked for that other company, tell them you drove for yourself for the last two years or whatever.
